Bringing the hope of Jesus to those whom have not yet heard
"You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas." --Psalm 65:5
I'm an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and was a Children's Pastor in the PennDel District for 8 years at New Life Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In June of 2015, God gave me a very distinct vision while I was leading Sunday worship in children's church where I saw my room full of Cambodian children. After praying and fasting, God confirmed to us that He was calling us to go to Cambodia. God called my wife Rebekah into missions as a child, and she became a Registered Nurse for that purpose. We've been married 17 years, and have five children (Nadia age 15, Josiah age 9, Gabriel age 7, Silas age 3, and Boaz born November 2022.)
Our family has completed a 2 year missionary associate term living in Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia. During our first term, we attended language school to learn the Khmer language, preached frequently in a local AG church, built relationships with the national church leaders, and participated in medical missions trips to provincial villages. We are now fully-appointed career missionaries with AGWM.
We returned to Cambodia in 2021 and have been living for the past three years in the never-reached province of Kep which is 99.9% unreached for the gospel. Brett has been continuing language studies, building relationships with the small handful of local Khmer pastors, preaching in a Khmer village church, and researching agricultural methods for community development. Rebekah has also been continuing her language studies, and volunteering in a charity hospital helping deliver Cambodian babies. We are homeschooling our children. We are partnered with Change the Map Prayer Initiative for the Buddhist World.
We will be itinerating for our second fully-appointed term in April of 2024, and hope to return to Cambodia by June of 2025. Our prayer is to open a Community Center as a platform for sharing the Good News and community development through English classes, healthcare seminars, and agricultural teaching.
We appreciate your prayers and support as we build relationships and pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit for in-roads to reaching the Buddhist and Muslim Khmer people in our province.
