About
Brandon grew up in Springfield, MO and graduated from Evangel University and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2007. Shayla (Rance) grew up in El Salvador as a missionary kid of DeLonn & Valerie Rance. She graduated from Bethany University and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Brandon and Shayla married in 2011 and have three children: Blake (9), Hunter (5), and Ruthy (4). The Coxes joined Assemblies of God U.S. Missions in 2013 and ministered in the area of anti-human trafficking for 10 years until they transferred to AGWM in 2023.
During their first term, they served in Las Vegas, NV with F.R.E.E. International and Refuge for Women. Their second term brought them back to Missouri to open and operate Oasis Refuge, a shelter for 10-20 year old female survivors of sex trafficking. At Oasis, Brandon served as the Executive Director and Shayla as the Program Director. Brandon has served on the Attorney General's Human Trafficking Task Force, as the Vice-Chair of STAND Against Trafficking Coalition, and on numerous missing kid searches.
In 2023, Brandon and Shayla felt God leading them toward a season of change and a new chapter in their missionary career. As a family, they sought God's direction through prayer and fasting and God called them to Europe. God spoke to each of them and opened all the right doors to solidify His call for them to accept a new assignment in the Netherlands!
