CURRENT MINISTRY:
After successfully establishing the Church Basics International (CBI) training of leaders in the area of church health and revitalization in German-speaking Europe, Steve and Christina have expanded this needed ministry to the countries of Northern Europe. They moved to Finland last year and plan to start the second round of CBI training for Finnish-speaking churches this Spring. Contacts to other countries are also being explored and followed up on. The Walents have seen more first-time visitors to the participating churches, more conversions, more baptisms, and more people actively following Christ as a result of this ministry.
PREVIOUS MINISTRY
The Walents have served in missions in Europe for about 38 years — the last 14 were spent establishing a church revitalization process among German-speaking churches in Europe called Church Basics International (CBI). The ministry is constantly growing and is integrated in the overall ministry of the Pentecostal movement in Germany.
