About

Training and Network Consultant with Project Rescue

After 10 years of ministry in Yugoslavia, Belgium, Alaska, Senegal, and Kenya, God opened the door for me to work with Project Rescue in India in 1998. The transition from Bible school and high school teaching, rural church planting, and community development work to anti-human trafficking ministry challenged and expanded me. I have walked the lanes of red-light areas, enjoyed cups of tea with women in brothels, played numerous games of UNO with the ladies' children, and laughed through training sessions with staff, pastors, Bible school students, and church members.

After seventeen years of working with survivors and aftercare staff, I am now working with #25 @Porteurs d'Espoir in Paris, France. Porteurs d'Espoir (Hope-Bearers) starting working with the refugee population in 2004. The association now has a church plant, Source d'Espoir (The Source of Hope), and #25, a ministry to prostituted people. Most of the people #25 serves are transgender women and women from South America. I also help with training and networking in the wider European context through Project Rescue Europe. I still marvel at how God seeks people in the overlooked places and extends His grace in such tender ways.
