Earl & Laura Goodrich

The Goodrich family, Earl, Laura, Alex and Nathan, have served in South Africa since April 1999. Their primary focus in ministry has been to train Sunday school teachers, help churches start feeding programs for kids, conduct children’s evangelism, organize kids camps, and start Junior Bible Quiz with the International Assemblies of God of South Africa.

In June 2014, Earl was appointed as the director for Africa’s Children, AGWM Africa’s continental ministry to Children. He provides leadership to the Africa’s Children Lead Team as they strive to help missionaries and national children’s ministries directors across the continent develop healthy ministries to children. A few examples of the different strategic areas addressed by Africa's Children are evangelism, curriculum development, training for children's ministries workers, and helping churches develop compassionate outreach.

Laura serves as the South Africa Area Director. In this role she serves as the pastor and leader for all AGWM missionaries serving in Lesotho, South Africa, and Swaziland. She works with the National Church leadership team in Swaziland and chairs the board of directors for Cape Theological Seminary. While she is still involved with children’s ministries, her primary role is helping the over 25 missionary families in the South Africa Area.
