Robert & Lisa Holloway

We are Bob & Lisa Holloway and have been married since 1981. We have two adult daughters who have been active with us in the ministry through the years. They are both married and pursuing their dreams.

The ministry that God called us to began in 1993 serving in the country of Mexico.  From there we went to Venezuela in 1999 and served in the country until 2016.  We have since changed our place of ministry to the Cusco region in the nation of Peru.

Over the years, we have been involved in many aspects of ministry: disaster relief (flood victims), construction of a Bible Institute/training center, church planting, evangelism outreaches, compassion ministry to include food distribution and medical teams, teaching, preaching, and any opportunity where we can show the love of Jesus.  

Our main focus of ministry has been among the indigenous groups.  It is our goal to partner with the national church raising up workers and equipping them to reach their Indigenous populations with the gospel.  This is a great task.  Partnering with our national brothers, we can increase our strength as they gain tools to effectively work in these hard places.     

We have the honor of being part of 1UP, the Unreached People Group (UPG), initiative for the Assemblies of God in Latin America.  The Indigenous groups in our region of the world are the primary UPG’s, which we are focused on reaching.  These groups are primarily located in remote areas that are sparsely populated.  This makes for challenging work, but God has given us strategies to reach these remarkable people.  Using Biblical story telling we are focusing on initiating a Church planting movement among every UPG in Latin America.

We are based in the Cusco region of Peru to work among the Quechua of that area.  As the descendents of the Inca’s of long ago, this proud group of people are hungry to hear the story of Jesus in their native tongue.  We believe that the time is right for a great harvest in these high mountains.
