About
My Story
Italy has been on my heart since I taught English there for a summer in 2017. After teaching for 9 years in the public school system, God told me it was time for a change. I found Casa di Rifugio and immediately knew that was where I needed to be. Sicily is the landing point of thousands of refugees from Africa and the Middle East. These countries are closed to the Gospel but God is bringing these unreached people groups to our door.
My Ministry
Casa di Rifugio means "House of Refuge." This ministry provides basic needs like food and clothing, offers classes to prepare them for a new life, and, most importantly, gives them access to the Word of God. I will be teaching English to the children and building relationships with their families. This allows me to share the love and hope of Jesus while giving the children the tools they need for a better life in the future.
