Gabriel & Kristin Flores

WHO WE ARE

Gabriel is originally from McAllen, TX (The Valley) and Kristin is from Houston, TX. We met in 2011 through mututal friends while in college. We were both saved and called to missions throughout our time in university and began dating in 2012. We got married in April 2016 and in January 2020 we welcomed our son, Mateo. 

GOD'S CALL TO MISSIONS

During our time in campus ministry, God called us to a life in missions. After dating for about 2 years, we had the opportunity to do a 3 month long internship in Santiago, Chile - where we learned what campus ministry (Conexion) would look like there. We saw a need for full-time workers and our hearts longed to fill this need. The call God put on our hearts is to reach university students and help them build a relationship with God. We want to make disciples who make discples. We have vision that not only will students be saved, but that Conexion will be a missionary force where these student will be called to serve other parts of the world!

CHILE UNIVERSITY STATS

There are about 1.2 million students in Chile and a total of 160 universities. 80 of those are public and the other 80 are private institutions. In Santiago alone (the nation's capital), there are currently 3 active Conexion groups. Pur prayer and goal is that we see more Conexion groups planted across Santiago!
