Our ministry in Japan includes 3 areas. Firstly, Chris is training pastors at both the graduate and undergraduate level at Central Bible College, Tokyo. Chris holds a Ph.D. in New Testament studies from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Therefore, he teaches courses in the area of New Testament. Secondly, we pastor Tsukuba International Christian Assembly in Tsukuba, Japan. Our church is bilingual and includes people representing about 16 different nationalities. Nonetheless, we have made it our mission to reach the lost of our community no matter their nationality. Finally, we lead a Chi-Alpha student ministry at the University of Tsukuba, and Chris teaches at the University of Tsukuba as an adjunct faculty member. Tsukuba is about 1 hour from Tokyo by train.
