We found it!! It’s on the other side of the world, but it’s just over the horizon. We’ve been there and nothing and no place is like it. We’re so convinced that this is it, we’re going to sell everything just to move there and be in God’s will. I (Gerry) am shutting down my Handyman business that’s taken years to build, selling my inventory and big tools, and we’re moving there. The thought of being so far away from our friends and family is sometimes overwhelming, even though we’ll stay in contact thru social media, we’ll miss those special occasions, holidays, and face to face meetings. We’re making some sacrifices, but we must go; it is our pearl of great price.

I’m talking about the Philippines and Family Circus Children’s ministry in Davao City on the island of Mindanao. 

There is so much we could talk about and tell you. We see now that the Lord has been preparing us for this adventure for some time. Whether it was doing group Bible studies in our home or filling in as an interim pastors at a local church, starting a youth group at our hometown AG church or doing evangelism at the local fairs, God has uniquely equipped us for this mission.

We cannot go unless we have a team of prayer and financial partners. People who will believe in us and come with us on this adventure. We must raise 100% of our budget before we can go, and we can’t do it without you. Will you consider becoming part of our team and stay connected with us? We would love that.

(We are currently on detour to Cambodia to help Kelly and Cyndi Robinette due to unopened doors in the Philippines. But we know that God is still leading us and we are excited for what He has for us there.)
