Scott & Cathy Miller

The Millers are following a call of God to serve in Germany. Scott and Cathy are experienced missionaries who have previously served in Kenya, the Philippines, and India. God has now called the Millers to lead a local congregation in the city of Stuttgart that ministers to U.S. Military families and other English Speaking people.

Europe is host to over 200,000 Americans who serve. Very few English speaking church options exist for service members and their families. The Assemblies of God only has three churches on the continent that are serving those who serve in our armed forces. Scott and Cathy will be leading one of those three churches.

The Millers will be discipling families and equipping them to bloom where God has planted them. Scott & Cathy hope to one day start a German speaking congregation to reach the townspeople who host Stuttgart's four military bases.

Remembering Germany's place in Church history, some would wonder why this nation filled with steeples and historic buildings would be the recipient of missionary outreach. However, a closer look reveals that those amazing church structures are mostly empty of people, and devoid of religious practice. A secular world view has gripped this nation and continent, stripping these lovely people of hope and purpose. The Millers will be working with a team of global workers that are called to reach and minister to all who reside in Europe.

Jesus' great commission is not merely a pursuit of geographical places and lines of latitude on a globe. Our Lord has called us to reach people in every place and in each successive generation and offer hope. We are to present God's good news in relevant and meaningful ways, and to disciple those who believe to fulfill their purpose in their context and generation.

Just as Scott and Cathy will be working with a team in Germany, they also will be working with a team of people at home who are called to serve as senders and supporters. Will you also respond to God's call, and be a part of the team that makes this outreach possible?
