Justin Canavan is an Assemblies of God World Missionary to Japan from Southern Missouri. He serves in church planting, Chi Alpha college student ministry, and media ministry. In addition to preaching the Word of God, He plans to provide media resources and training for Pastors and Churches throughout Japan so more people can come to know Jesus. He plans to do this by creating films, documentaries, and other media materials that will help communicate the Gospel in a way Japanese people will understand.
Canavan served periodically in Tsukuba, Japan from 2014-2022. The first time was six weeks (2014); the second time was one year (2016); and, now, he is a fully appointed AGWM Missionary to Japan.
Canavan is a videographer, photographer, and graphic designer with about five years of professional media experience and nine years of ministry experience. He is also a graduate of Evangel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Film with minors in Broadcasting and Biblical Studies, and a graduate of James River Leadership College with a Leadership AA.
