Sean Mills

My name is Séan Mills. Born in Seattle, WA. Moved to Tennessee and then became a missionary in Ecuador at age 10. Went to Lee University where I studied Spanish Literature. I learned to be a better geek by working for the university IT HelpDesk.

It was at that point, that I told God that I no longer wanted to be a missionary. I had done my time and wanted other things. I still was a Christian, but no longer wanted to be on a foreign field. And God said "Ok...", so I worked, moved states, went to Culinary school, got other jobs. Then in a job hunt my dad encouraged me to apply as an MA. Not really wanting to, I did it anyway and it was the only application that came back with a Yes. 13 years later God spoke again "...Vacation is over, it is time to get back to doing what I trained you to do since you were a little kid." And I said "Yes Sir".

Now I am back in missions! Working to leverage technology to spread the Gospel. I have partnered with IMM in Spain. We broadcast the Gospel story across North Africa, Middle East, Parts of Asia, and all of Europe. I get to use media and technology to reach over 10 million people in nearly 80 languages in hard reach or even "Unreached" areas.
