In 2015 I started attending a missions minded church, that has changed my life. The missions trips I have gone on previously have felt so liberating, as if I'm in the place God wants me to be. The call to go is one that has not left me alone no matter how many times I tried to push the thought away. Thus, God has arranged my life in such a way that I am able to leave and serve Him wherever He wants me to go. I love the Lord and am walking in obedience on the path He has destined me for.
As a Missionary Associate, I have the privilege to serve under 2 full time missionaries- Autumn Starnes and Rebecca Johns and alongside another MA Garret Boren. We are a team of 4 working together to run a student center, where we offer English classes. Our focal point is in buidling relationships with our students. The majority of our students are Buddhists and have never heard of Jesus. Our ministry is about planting the seeds of the Gospel of Christ within our relationships, how we behave with our students and with each other. We are showing who Jesus is just by living in a completely Jesus way that sometimes goes against the culture.
