Matt and Debbie are entering their fourth term as Assemblies of God World Missionaries. They teach and mentor pastors and leaders at Assembly Bible College in Gaborone, Botswana. They assist the National Church's growth and development strategies through ministry training, discipleship, and Africa Tabernacle Evangelism. Matt is the director of the Botswana Global University Office, which encourages and facilitates the ongoing training of pastors and church leaders through correspondence. Matt also serves as the missionary team leader for Botswana. Matt and Debbie's effort helps to reach Botswana and the surrounding region with the gospel of Jesus Christ.


Matt and Debbie have served in Botswana for the last 13 years. They served as youth, children, and interim pastors in Washington and California before becoming missionaries.

During their time in Botswana, they have served as instructor, vice presdient, and academic dean of Assembly Bible College. They have erected 10 new church structures in rural villages, planted a church, and ministered throughout the country.

Matt and Debbie have 3 adult children (Hannah, Zach, and Elliott), a son in law (Roman) and 1 grandson (Ezra).
