WHO ARE JAY & CAREY?

Jay and Carey Rostorfer have been

missionaries to Madagascar for 20 years. Before that, they served as Pastors and church planters in Ohio for 12 years.

Jay has spent much of his time helping in the planting and establishing of new churches, as well as holding evangelistic crusades in the cities as well as in the bush. This includes helping to purchase church lands and build buildings for these new churches. Throughout the year he has also taught in the Bible School, helping to train and equip future Pastors for the work of the ministry. Jay also serves as the team leader for Madagascar as well as the liaison

between AGWM and the National Church.

Carey has been very active in working with our National Women's ministry bringing discipleship and growth to female Pastors, Pastors' wives, women's ministry leaders, and women in the church, as well as empowering the women of the church to reach the women on the streets and in their

communities with the Gospel.

Together, they have traveled doing discipleship, praise & worship and marriage seminars. For many years they lead a youth ministry among international young people.

Jay and Carey also lead a team of people who translate, print and distribute Christian literature and curriculum for the Malagasy church.

WE ARE PLANTING AN URBAN TRIBES CHURCH IN THE CAPITAL CITY OF ANTANANARIVO!

Urbanization and globalization stand out as major trends with continent-wide impacts that are

reshaping Africa. By 2050, the continent's urban population will more than triple. These trends are causing a shift, producing an emerging urban tribe in Africa’s large cities. Like any other tribe, it has its own language, culture, and identity. As a new day dawns across Africa, Urban Tribes seeks to reach the city and its emerging community through strategic planting of high-influence, high-impact churches.

In Antananarivo, Jay & Carey will be leading together an English speaking, Pentecostal church designed to reach the Urban professional of Madagascar, whether they are

university students, entrepreneurs, business owners, and their growing families.
