HELLO!

I am John Crace, a missionary associate heading to Tallinn, Estonia! I am going to Tallinn, Estonia to join an amazing church planting team, helping with their coffee ministry and planting a Chi Alpha at the university in Tallinn. We hope that reaching out to the community via our mobile coffee trailer, community events at our coffee shop, and discipling the next generation will start a church planting movement in Estonia!

MY STORY

As a child, I was raised in church, but never truly had a relationship with Jesus. When I was 9, I was sexually assaulted. Then when I was 12, I was going to take my own life, but luckily my mom found me in the living room before I could. As a teenager, I continued to struggle with depression and thoughts of suicide. In 2018, I was 19, and I had a conversation with someone I have never spoken to before. They told me about how important a relationship with Jesus was and that going to church wasn't about the people there, but your relationship with Him. The following Sunday was Easter Sunday, and I went to church. In 2018 I gave my heart to Christ on Easter Sunday, and my heart totally changed. I finally felt whole, loved, and not alone. 

MY MINISTRY

With my past of sexual assault, depression, and not believing in religion, God has shown me that Estonians are in my shoes that I once was in. 1 in 6 Estonians are sexually abused before the age of 15, they are a world leader in suicide and depression rates, and 90% of the population does not believe in a God or spiritual being. I believe God will use my testimony to connect with Estonians. To show them that they aren't alone, and that there is a living God that loves and cares for them. I will be building relationships through the coffee ministry and daily life to stride towards changing that 90% of Estonians who believe in no god, to 100% of Estonians believing in Jesus.
