Hi, my name is Sara Nelson, and I am a missionary to teenagers in Cameroon, Central Africa!
Cameroon has a population of over 27 million, half of which is under the age of 18. The same configuration holds true in most churches with the children and teens making up about half the church. This presents the church with an amazing opportunity to reach the next generation. The reality is most churches in Cameroon do not have effective ministry to or discipleship of youth ages 11 to 18. The national church feels the need to steward this crucial time in teen lives well and has communicated their willingness to partner with AGWM missionaries to see this accomplished. We, together, have a unique opportunity to impact the youth of Cameroon in a way that empowers them to be leaders for the Kingdom today and for the future.
