About Me:
My name is Cassandra Paz and I grew up in the Assemblies of God church in Sacramento, CA. I walked away from my faith in my youth, until I rededicated my life to Christ in college in 2016. It was in a room filled with 300+ college students at a worship night that changed my life. Since then I've gone on short term missions to Central Asia and Mexico and just got back from giving a year in South Korea!
I have a passion to see this next generation reconciled to Christ and equipped to be all that God has called them to be! So they can go out and impact their sphere of influence for Christ and His kingdom!
About Chi Alpha Korea:
Chi Alpha Korea is a Christian Campus Ministry in Seoul, South Korea that serves to bring the gospel to college students in community!
2 Corinthians 5:20 says,
"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf be reconciled to God."
Our campus ministry finds its identity in this passage. We believe that God longs to have each and every person be reconciled to Himself, and the way that re-connection happens is through the representation of His people. Each of us who takes on the identity of "Christian" becomes a Christ ambassador - or christou apsotoloi in Greek, which we shorten to the first letters "Chi" and "Alpha" or XA.
