We're The Brown Family! Nate, Michelle, and Orion, and we are Missionary Associates with the Assemblies of God World Missions! We have been serving with AGWM since July 2020.
We are serving in Guayaquil, Ecuador, focusing on assisting with two church plants: one in Cuidad de Dios and another in Monte Sinai. Both neighborhoods are urban slums, with many needs relating to poverty, health, education, safety, drugs, realtional needs, and of course, spiritual needs. We want to help build the Lord's kingdom here!
How do we build the Lord's kingdom? Through the gospel, through the saving grace of our Lord Jesus, through the only one who can change lives, Jesus!
What does this look like? Church plants in areas that have never previously had an evangelical church. Christian Schools, help funded and run through Child Hope. Feeding programs, ministry centers, and programs, through Compassion International, specifically targeted at the neighborhoods with the greatest needs. Not only do we teach the kids about Jesus, we help meet their physical and emotional needs too, and provide opportunities for a better education, that can change a generation and transform a neighborhood.
God is the one changing lives! We are just His humble servants, honored to spend our lives serving the Lord in this way!
