Nathan & Tara Anders

Tara and Nathan worked in the emergency response and medical field for a combined total of over 20 years.  Tara worked in both clinical and emergency pre-hospital care for over 9 years and Nathan worked in law enforcement for 12 years, including a year working in Afghanistan as a high-risk security contractor for the U.S. Department of State. 

Nathan accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and received the call into ministry at the age of 12 while attending church camp.  Tara gave her life to Christ at the age of 9 in a small country church’s Vacation Bible School, with her Great Aunt leading her.  They both grew up in Christian homes and were apart of several short-term missions trips over the years as youth and young adults.  

In October of 2003 Tara and Nathan were married and over the years God has blessed them with two beautiful daughters, Katheryn (18) and Esther Rose (11).   They have served in all ages of ministry from birth to college age and have over 12 years in vocational ministry.

Over the years their hearts continued to grow for missions and for those who have no access to the Gospel.   While attending a powerful missions service, Tara and Nathan, could not deny a call into missions, to the unreached and unengaged parts of the world. 

Nathan, Tara, Katheryn, and Esther Rose now are walking in the God-given dream of overseas missions work. They have served with AGWM since October 2015, including one term in a sensitive country in Central Asia. Currently they partnering with the National Church of Papua New Guinea to see the Church planted among the #NeverReached of PNG and throughout Melanesia.  Tara, Nathan and family have been asked to drive to the end of the road, put on backpacks and hike the rest of the way in to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people in rural, hard to get to villages.
