We first arrived in Bangladesh in 2011 with two very young kids in tow. Our heart’s desire was to preach the Gospel among the unreached and to minister to victims of human trafficking. The Lord opened doors for us beyond anything we could’ve imagined. Through the course of our time in the fourth largest Muslim country in the world, we were able to see many dreams realized. We were involved with Akhi’s Place, a Project Rescue-affiliated residential home for young girls born into brothels, since its launch in early 2012. We served as the Directors of this amazing ministry, and we also actively engaged in children’s camps, taught at the national Bible School, and intentionally proclaimed the Gospel to our friends and neighbors. In addition, we have coached new missionaries through the itineration process and prepared them for fruitful longevity on the field through our work with Eurasia Candidate Coaching.
As we go forward in God’s call on our lives, we continue to focus on Muslim ministry, now in a broader context, through the teamwork of Global Initiative. Our hearts have burned for decades for the people of Islam, and they are waiting to encounter Jesus. We believe that every Muslim deserves to hear the Truth about Jesus, and we are working toward that end.
