Stuart and Jeanie served overseas since 1991, spending over 25 years in the Philippines. The Germans reluctantly returned to stateside service for family needs in 2017, which grew extended after Stuart contracted colon cancer. He has recovered well, with glowing follow-up reports. The Germans are now headed back overseas, with a new assignment. They will join a Live Dead Launch Team in a major UAE city for training new workers headed to Eurasian countries. The Launch Team has a goal of establishing a new church with each new cycle of global workers!
Stuart plans on using his experience at GU to continue developing relationships and extending GU's footprint in sensitive countries within the region. Jeanie's several years of administrative work in the home office prepared her for the service of overseeing the daily center operations. She and Stuart excitedly look forward to the joy and challenges of helping young new workers prepare for their waiting adventures. Stuart says, "Jeanie and I thrill at the opportunity to bring something real to this desert mirage. To inject light into this land of dark imitation!"
