About

The Leaders of the Africa Assemblies of God have named 2010-2020 the Decade of Pentecost. In 2012 after serving in Africa for 20 years in the areas of pastoral training and church planting, Mark and Victoria began working full time with the Acts in Africa Initiative (AIA), a ministry which provides training and resources to help the African church reach its Decade of Pentecost goals.

Recently the Turneys have been asked to take on a leadership role at the West Africa Advanced School of Theology (WAAST) in Lome, Togo.  WAAST is a regional school that provides advanced theological training for church leaders, educators, church planters and cross-cultural missionaries from 19 countries in West and Central Africa as well as Madagascar.  The Turneys believe that trained leadership is essential to mobilizing the African church to fulfill God's mission. The Decade of Pentecost marks a strategic advance for the African church.  As the Turneys engage at WAAST, it is their desire to promote the formation of Pentecostal servants who will lead this strategic advance.
