Since 2005, the Eckerts have served the Lord as a family in Indonesia. They worked tirelessly to bring the gospel to the Bugis, Makassar, Torajan, Luwu, and several other Never Reached people groups. Some of the places they ministered, they were the first AG missionaries to ever live there, and the Lord opened the door in miraculous ways for them to be there.
In 2017 they opened the Esperanza House! A home for young girls from the remote mountain villages to come and live in the city. At the Esperanza House, the girls can continue their education and graduate from High School. Without the Esperanza House these young ladies wouldn't have the opportunity at an education beyond elementary school. They currently sponsor 20 young ladies in High School and Bible School!
Currently Tim and Doris have expanded ministry as Asia Pacific Regional Missionaries. Tim is serving as the disaster relief coordinator for all 40 countries in Asia Pacific. Doris is the director of Asia's Little Ones, a compassion ministry of the Asia Pacific Region that resources and encourages the Children's homes, health ministries, and education/community outreaches for Asia's at-risk. orphaned, neglected or abused children.
TJ, Ariyanna, and Gracie are also missionaries in their own circles, they are not shy to talk about Jesus and pray for the lost. TJ also plays guitar, drums or whatever is needed for the youth worship team at church.
