About
Andrew began his life as an Assembly of God Missionary Associate in 1994 in Albania. He married Stacey the same year and graduated from Valley Forge Bible College with a BS in Bible and a major in World Missions. Later, he completed a BA in Modern Foreign Language from Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg, VA, and became a fully appointed missionary. He also completed an MA in Biblical Studies and is working on an MDiv through Global University in Springfield, MO.
Stacey is from Lakeland, FL, and graduated from Mary Washington University with an English degree. She is credentialed with the AG and is beginning a Master's program with Global University. She has a long history of working with children's and girls' ministries and helping launch Royal Rangers programs in Eastern Europe and Africa, including creating a Christian "Rite of Passage" program for girls used in Kenya.
Andrew and Stacey, along with their two children, served as missionaries in the Republic of Macedonia from 1998 to 2004. Together, they helped refugees from the Kosovo War and introduced the Royal Rangers ministry, co-ed in Europe (and much of the world). They also assisted in spreading the Rangers ministry to Bulgaria.
From 2008 to 2016, the Whitman family lived in Nairobi, Kenya, coordinating the Royal Rangers ministries for all of Africa, which is heavily engaged in church planting. Now, they serve as missionaries with Global University—Andrew is on the faculty, and Stacey works in the Materials Development Department. Together, they will train future pastors in many parts of the world. You can follow their ministry on Instagram or YouTube (search keywords "Whitmans in World Missions").
