Peter & Vicky Crislip

Peter and Vicky are Missionary Associates with the Assemblies of God World Missions. Peter is from Hutto, Texas while Vicky was born and raised in Taichung, Taiwan. They both committed their lives to serving the Lord Jesus Christ around the age of 14. While in totally different parts of the world, God still impressed on both their hearts individually that He desired them to serve Him as full-time missionaries.

They met each other through Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at the University of North Texas (now "Chi Alpha Denton-UNT/TWU") as Peter pursued his masters in Geo-Archeology at UNT and  Vicky came as an international student to UNT’s language school a year before beginning her graduate study in Vocal Pedagogy at Texas Woman’s University. 

From being student leaders to becoming staff and interns with Chi Alpha Denton, God had prepared them for missions through international student outreach. He gave each of them a heart for the university students and young adults in Taiwan through a vision trip to Taiwan in the summer of 2014. They answered God’s call on their lives into missions in Taiwan, and in early 2015, they were invited to be a part of the team to plant the first Chi Alpha campus ministry in Taiwan. 

Since September 2016, the Crislips have been serving on staff at Agape International Christian Assembly (ICA) in Taipei alongside other missionaries and pastors to reach and disciple university students—including international students whose population has rapidly grown in Taiwan in recent years— and help establish Chi Alpha in the Taipei area. They also welcomed their first baby boy, Gideon Mu-Chien, in February 2019 while serving on the field. Their heart is to bring the young generation back to Jesus and raise up student leaders on university campuses who will carry the hope of salvation back to their campuses and into the world.
