ABOUT

In the height of the pandemic in February 2021 when borders and businesses were shutting down, we decided to take our very first short-term missions trip to the Dominican Republic. For 11 days we ministered to a Haitian village in Santiago. We returned the week before the TX snowpocalypse began! We had even landed on black ice! 

 

Since we were living in Austin,TX there were rolling blackouts for an entire week. In the stillness with no TV, electricity, or internet, we both felt the call to missions! Without knowing where or what to do next, we heard God say "it's time to GO, get READY, and be MOBILE!" 

 

In an act of obedience, we radically sold all of our belongings (and the boat!) in an estate sale all within the 2 weeks after the snowpocalypse. We closed down our business and even gave our dog away to close family. Oh, and we moved into a tiny camper all before the end of February! Last year in 2022, we both quit our jobs and we have been fervently fundraising since June 2022 so that we can urgently go and save souls in #paradiselost. 

 

PLAN

We believe and know that we were called by God to the Dutch Caribbean. The harvest is ripe and now is the time for a fresh move of God's Spirit in Curaçao and the Netherlands Antilles! The Netherlands Antilles is a new region to Assemblies of God World Missions. Up until 3 years ago, there had not been any missionaries in over 100 years. There are currently only 2 AG Churches in 8 countries totaling over 2 million people. #8countries1gospel #pioneers

 

We have seen that God loves to use the local church to bring people to him. Through youth outreach ministries, local churches and leaders, we plan to evangelize, equip, and empower the most vulnerable of Curaçao and the surrounding Dutch Islands. We have been commissioned to serve for 2 years and 8 months. We believe that God will move mightily through children, blessing generations to come! #thegreatcommission #hesaidgo
