Friends for years and married in July 2020, Erik and Kayla are excited to be returning to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to continue working with Urban Tribes in planting churches in the urban centers. They will be involved in ministering to and developing the men and women who are gatekeepers shaping business, education and culture to Ethiopia and the surrounding nations in Africa.
Both have served many years in their home church; both as interns and volunteer leaders, Erik as a youth director and Kayla on the missions board. Kayla and Erik have served with Urban Tribes in Ethiopia since 2017. They continue to help lead the church in Addis Ababa and develop the people to be used by God for ministry, missions, business, education, and so many more areas of work.
Exciting things are happening throughout Ethiopia and God is moving! There is more to be started, a church planting movement in the urban centers taking place across the continent, and gatekeepers ready to be empowered.
