Tamara Henkes

For the past 13 years, Tamara has had the privilege and honor to serve in Romania with the Kidz Romania ministry team.  Together, the Kidz Romania team served the Romanian national churches in the area of Children's Evangelism, discipleship, and training next-generation leaders.  

Tamara is currently itinerating in preparation to make a huge change to the country of Montenegro, located in the Balkan region bordering the Adriatic Sea.  Montenegro is a young country, gaining its independence from Serbia in 2006 and is made up of primarily Eastern Orthodox adherents or cultural Muslims.  This nation had difficult soil when it comes to the message of Jesus Christ and following Him in a personal relationship. Tamara's heart and passion is to see individuals come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in their relationship through discipleship, churches planted and next-generation leaders trained and equipped to minister and disciple to children.  Tamara will be working with another missionary couple and prays for more to be called to help reach Montenegro.
