About

We have worked in Nicaragua 22 years in Deaf Ministry. Founded a Deaf school in 1998. It is now 2016, we have 85 students, from preschool age to high school. We have added some hearing students. We also minister to the Deaf community. We are seeing God change lives and making leaders about our deaf. There is a great need to reach more deaf people in this country. We appreciate the support and prayers of our friends and churches in US.

We are beginning our itineration June 2017 - Sept.  We are believing God for a fruitful time of sharing with our supporting churches and meeting new friends. We thank each of you for your prayers and financial blessings.

The Lord gave us a vision to start a coffeehouse ministry for the Deaf community in Managua in 2007 and now it is a reality in 2013. Since 2008 were able to help our local church to construct a 2-story building with the help of American missions teams to house the coffeehouse as well as offices and Sunday School classrooms for the hearing church. The deaf people do not have a place like this.  We have about 30-40 deaf attending the coffee house ministry twice a month on Saturdays.  As a result, some Deaf people started attending our Deaf church.  We started our deaf services in 2014 with about 10 and now are averaging 20-25.

July this year of 2016 we hosted the First Latin American Deaf Ministries Conference.  100 attended from 9 different countries.  It was a tremendous impact on all.  We were united in Spirit and encouraged to do more in LA for God's glory.  Our next event will be in 2018 in Costa Rica.

We iniciated the First Deaf Bible Institute in LA right after the conference on July 11th.  We have 3 students; 1 from Nicaragua and 2 from the Dom. Republic.  We will finish this semester first of December.  We are trusting God to give us more students next year.  There is a great need to train and teach young Deaf people to become pastors.  We are excited to be a part of what God is wanting to do throughout our Region.

We are seeing Deaf people here receive Jesus and follow in Water Baptism.  It is exciting to see them opening their hearts and having a hunger for Him.  A hunger to learn God's Word and to live a healthy Christian life.  Oh, God that we may teach them YOUR WAY and be the examples before them.  Our prayer is also for the Lord to touch and call more lives to work with us as a team to finish the task ahead.
