About

Don and Cyndie first served with Home Missions ministering at Teen Challenge, Philadelphia, and then among the Cuban refugees in the Miami area in the Cuban Evangelistic Center (IEP), the Cuban Refugee Center of the A/G, and taught at Miami Spanish Bible Institute. They received their approval from AGWM (FMD at the time) as missionary candidates in 1972, which led to their foreign missions appointment.

Their first overseas assignment was to help establish a resident Bible Institute for the Assemblies of God of Portugal, today MEIBAD. In 1975 they transferred to the field of Spain at the request of the missions department. Don took on the responsibilities of pastoring a church in Madrid and director of Spain ICI (now Global University). In 1988 the Jeters accepted the chairmanship of the Department of Missions and a teaching position at Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota.

In 1993 Don and Cyndie were asked by AGWM to minister in Cuba helping establish a solid biblical/theological base at a time of exponential growth due to Pentecostal revival! Born in Cuba to missionary parents, Don was able to claim his Cuban citizenship which enabled him to enter and minister there. They were later assigned as charter members of the Strategic Missionary Force for Latin America & Caribbean while maintaining their active ministry in Cuba and teaching with the Facultad de Teología (Latin American Advanced School of Theology) of the A/G in their M.A. program.

After 12 years of active ministry teaching with the Facultad throughout Latin America and in Cuba the Jeters were asked by the AGWM to return to Spain and help direct the ministry of SETS (Seminario Europeo de Teología Superior) based in Madrid ministering to Spanish-speaking churches throughout Europe in areas with heavy Spanish populations, teaching in the A/G seminary, writing theological articles for the national church and mentors in a church plant in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid.

The Jeters re-connected with the work in Cuba as a faculty member of Global University as well as teaching & training ministers simultaneously across four continents. Global is actively involved in 166 countries, 129 languages sith 225 national offices. Pentecostal revival is blazing in strategic areas around the world and training pastors with sound Bible & Pentecostal teaching is vital. Those trained in turn reach their own people with the Word in the power of the Spirit. "Reaching the Lost by Training the Found" is lived out in the farthest corners of the world, overcoming political, ideological, geographical and religious barriers. The Jeters sincerely feel that God has strategically placed them in this ministry "for such a time as this" to use their talents and 50+ years of missionary experience in a broader and more effective way than they had ever dreamed. Over the span of their ministry there have been many changes, paradigm shifts, new buzz words and methodologies. But one thing they have proved - God is faithful; He never changes! Their passion is to see the church return to a fresh Pentecost with the life-transforming Gospel preached and confirmed with miracles, signs & wonders!
